Increasing compression will mainly increase acceleration(torque), not top speed. Head kits, however, do not slow down top speed.

You must select a head shell, a dome, and a cylinder for a complete kit.

Above reccomendations may vary depending on other modifications done to engine.
What is shown should be considered 'safe' with proper tuning for all applications.
Ultimately, it is the engine builders resposibility for proper assembly and tuning.
